A person who willfully, maliciously, and repeatedly follows, harasses or cyberstalks another person, and makes a credible threat to that person commits the offense of aggravated stalking.
“Aggravated Stalking” cases should be taken very seriously by courts, local law enforcement, crime victims, and all members of a targeted victim’s social network community.
One example of how serious of a crime aggravated stalking is to risk committing, in Florida it’s a felony of the third degree [SEE: §784.048(3), Florida Statutes] — something that can easily land a repeat offender in jail and/or cost them high court costs and fines if and when they are tried and convicted (depending on whether or not they have a criminal history).
